Adeleke Distributes Imole Osun Cash Grants 2.0 to 2,000 Beneficiaries

The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the economic and financial wellbeing of its residents through ongoing empowerment initiatives.

At the official distribution of the Imole Osun Cash Grant/Empowerment Scheme 2.0, held at the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Abere, Governor Adeleke stressed that the scheme was created to empower small-scale business owners and to promote financial independence among the citizens.

Represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Dr Bunmi Jenyo, the governor described the initiative as further proof of his government’s dedication to genuine, human-centred development.

“Today’s event is a powerful affirmation of our firm commitment to sustainable governance and inclusive governance. The cash grant initiative is intended to generate wealth, create jobs and help strengthen the economic base of Osun,” Governor Adeleke stated.

Economic Empowerment for Growth

The governor clarified his explanation that Imole Osun Cash Grant 2.0 is not a one-time event but is an element of a bigger empowerment plan that will help residents to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs.

In his speech, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe, the Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, revealed that more than 20,000 residents have received various economic empowerment and support programs implemented under the administration of Governor Adeleke.

He also said that the government is dedicated to empowering the grassroots and the development of small-scale companies that help local economies.
